FAQ

Q: How do I book an appointment?

You can book private appointments by locating "Book A Slot" button on the header on the top right corner of the page, or simply click here. As we are currently focusing on fine-tuning our artistic styles, priority of booking will be given to pieces that align with the respective artist's individual styles, and/or interesting designs they would wish to explore.

q: How does it work?

We are storytellers at the core of our beings. Thus we would love to adorn your skin with not just a simple temporary tattoo, but also a visual interpretation of your story that accompanies it. Therefore, it would help if you could be as descriptive as possible when writing a booking enquiry in order for us to be able to come up with a design that both you and I will like. However, we are also open to pieces that are just for aesthetics ;-). Just drop us a booking enquiry under "Book a Slot" and the artist will get back to you via email ASAP.

Q: How much do you charge?

Prices vary per design depending on size, placement and intricacy. Due to the nature of our booking method, a price gauge can only be given after we have more information about the piece you want.

Q: How long does it last?

Jagua usually lasts on the skin for 10-14 days. Longevity of  a stain depends on your skin, where you put it, your aftercare and also the types of activities that you do. Generally, the thinner the skin, the shorter it will last. Body parts prone to wash/sweat also means it will fade faster i.e. your palms and fingers.

Q: What is Jagua ink?

It is an organic fruit based dye made from the Jagua fruit that works like henna, but it stains like the colour of a real tattoo. NOTE that if you're allergic to tropical fruits, especially berries, you might be allergic to Jagua ink so message us to arrange for a patch test if you wish. It is also not advisable to draw on eczema patches.

q: how long must i leave it on for?

Jagua takes about 15-30 minutes to dry on average, so touching is a NO-NO! You have to leave Jagua on for 3-5 hours before you can wash it off with water. Further aftercare instructions can be found under the 'Aftercare' tab on our website.

Q: Is there a catalogue of designs I can choose from?

No unfortunately. However, you can view our portfolio/past works on www.instagram.com/henn.drawn to get some ideas.

Q: Can I book you FOR events?

Yes! We cover all sorts of events. Even if it is not listed here or unheard of, we are sure we can work something out together. Do fill in the Private Hire Form (Under "Events" tab) with the relevant info (no. of pax expected, date, time, duration, expected services etc) and we'll get back to you shortly.

q: Do you teach?

Yes! You can book for our classes under the "Workshop" tab on our website. It is 101% beginner friendly so don't be afraid to join even if you have absolutely no experience in drawing!
